Due to Government guidelines around COVID -19

More information about how we are protecting our customers and colleagues

Customers

All members of Khans Solicitors have now been instructed to work from home and there will be no office presence for at least the next 3 weeks.

In order to maintain services, we require those sending written communication to Khans Solicitors to do so by email. We will aim to respond to you as swiftly as possible. Please DO NOT send anything to us in the post, DX or by courier. Where hard copy communication is unavoidable please liaise with the relevant responsible person to make mutually suitable arrangements.

So far as it’s possible, it’s business as usual for everyone at Khans Solicitors. We are determined to continue delivering the best possible service to our customers.

For customers scheduled to come in to our offices, we will be rearranging these meetings and conducting them by phone or video calls. This is in line with the Government guidance on social distancing.

We cannot guarantee that the courts will remain open. We are working with colleagues in Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service and following the guidance on the government website regarding changes to cases and the day to day court operations. Should your case be impacted we will let you know as soon as we can. More guidance on COVID-19 and its impact on court operations can be found here.

Your Employment Rights

During this time many people will feel unsure of their rights in the workplace. Our employment lawyers have been featured across the media over the last week highlighting what employers can and cannot ask of their staff and whether people are entitled to be paid.

You can follow our Khans Solicitors LinkedIn and Facebook channels to get updated as the situation changes.

Colleagues

During this time we are following the government guidance. This includes asking colleagues with symptoms to self-isolate, limiting large meetings and encouraging social distancing.

We are also providing our colleagues with the technology and training to be able to work from home as much as possible.

Colleagues will be allowed to work more flexibly and travel between offices will be stopped.

Each of our offices is thoroughly cleaned throughout the day and this cleaning has been increased for areas such as door handles, lift buttons and surfaces.
